VERSE 1
Too many heartbeats, too many nights I’ve been alone
It makes me hesitate
I want to believe in You, I want to believe this love is true
But I can’t find the faith
You say love is unconditional
Am I in a dream world?

CHORUS
I’ve been waiting all my life
For somebody like You
I’ve been waiting all my life
For somebody like You

VERSE 2
So many lonely days I try to quench my thirst for love
By drinking of desire
But soon the feelings die
And like withered branches fall to the ground
To be thrown into the fire
You say love is unconditional
Am I in a dream world?

CHORUS
I’ve been waiting all my life
For somebody like You
I’ve been waiting all my life
For somebody like You

BRIDGE
I felt like a castaway lost on an angry sea
The tempest raging all around me
But You kept me warm
Safe from the storm
I’ve finally find my home
With somebody like you

VERSE 3
Goodbye loneliness - I’m ready to put my past behind
And I won’t hesitate
I finally believe in You, I finally believe this love is true
You’ve given me the faith
You said love is unconditional
And I am no longer in a dream world
